Last week when my wife and I went downtown for an evening of dining and live music on Breeze Street and Scott Avenue, we got a lot more night life than we bargained for.
In our short two-block walk from the parking lot to the restaurant, we saw no fewer than three female prostitutes!
When we mentioned our experiences to the restaurant owner, he said the street had changed for the worse and that the police have been ignoring the problem. I would have had more sympathy for the owner if we hadn’t seen one of those very same prostitutes talking with the bartender!
Owners should worry about what business is going on outside (and inside) their stores! In the future, we will be more likely to go to places on upper Scott Avenue.
And where are the police?
