“I patrol the Scott Avenue beat. Whenever I see a girl outside the 300 block of Scott Avenue, I threaten to arrest her if she doesn’t immediately leave the area. This usually forces the girls to stay inside the local bars and motels, keeping them out of sight. When the big games are in town, most of the usual girls can be found circling the arena waiting for the game to end. You need just three things to attract prostitutes: men, alcohol, and drugs. When you find those three things in the same area, prostitutes aren’t far behind.”
