Lorraine Mazerolle is associate professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. She was previously associate professor at the University of Cincinnati. She has done extensive research and writing on problem-oriented policing, crime mapping, crime prevention, gunshot detection systems, 3-1-1 call systems, civil remedies to crime and disorder problems, street-level drug enforcement, crime displacement, and policing public housing. She is the author of Policing Places with Drug Problems and co-editor of Civil Remedies and Crime Prevention. She is a member of the Academy of Experimental Criminologists. Dr. Mazerolle received her Ph.D. from Rutgers University.
