It is both old and new. A newer and younger crowed has shown up. This is because the demand for drugs for younger kids has allowed them to be opened up to prostitution.

Dangerous, because of the crime and even the "johns". At the end of the day, prostitution is a crime and other crime follows in its footsteps.

Busy with other activities

Robberies, car burglary, drug offenses, and other crime against people are all related in the same areas. Therefore, making it dangerous.

It would reappear into am area that is similar to the original area that it took place. Low income with business that attract prostitution.

They have criminal backgrounds, are carful and do not want to be caught. One even has a family that he does not want finding out.

Very committed. They have strategies and plans regarding how to successfully prostitute without getting caught

Some business owners and residents of the area are concerned. This is due to the fact that crime has gone up in the surrounding area. They want their area kept up and safe.

There are several different types of clients, and the ones I chose to interview were all women, as were the options. Some were convicted street prostitutes, prostitutes, and those who are in rehabilitation centers.

2. What is known about the prostitutes (e.g., age, gender, race, criminal history, social service history, substance abuse history, residence)?

The ones I interviewed we convicted prostitutes and one of them had a substance abuse issue. Some now are in rehabilitation centers that assisted them to rearrange their life.

The people who were interviewed did not mention any robbery or theft that the prostitutes committed against them.

4. Are street prostitutes the victims of crime? 

The street prostitutes are victims of drug and assault crimes because they tend to lean towards areas where drug crime is at its highest, and when things get rough with the client, they tend to become abusive.

5. How committed are prostitutes to prostitution?

The prostitutes are trying to make a living with the job they have, they know the areas, they know which people to hit on, and they know what people are worth paying. They are observers that need to know where to get the most money.

6. How committed are they to a particular location? 

The prostitutes try to aim at the upper streets, which contain more money compared to the lower ones. Some tend to stay away from the lower streets due to their high crime rates and police threats.

After reviewing all the Clients ("Johns") Interviews what is known about them is 2 of them spoke about hoping their families or people in their life don't find out what they are doing (Richard Meyer
and Stanley Wiltern). Jim Paxton purchases drugs and exchanges them with the prostitutes. Rick Sampier seems to have been doing this for a while.

2. How committed are clients to prostitution?

They look for prostitutes who look reasonable or go to their usual place. They know the areas where to look for these prostitutes and continue to visit when needed.

3. What groups are particularly concerned and why? What specific concerns are expressed?

The concerns that are expressed by the clients is getting a disease or having their close ones find out that they are having sexual intercourses with prostitutes.

4. How committed are they to soliciting prostitutes on the street or in a particular area?

Jim Paxton seemed to find a prostitutes who is willing to trade drugs for oral sex. The rest scope around the scenery looking for the "right" prostitute and will return another day if not.
