buisness owners and police. For business owners the prostitution can affect their business in either really negative or positive ways. It could boost business sales or destroy profits and reputations. Police are concerned since it will effect their resources by using more police to focus on a prostitution problem that could be going to other things.

They are decently organized. The church has a campaign in the works that is being planned to help put an end to prostitution

As long as the drugs and strangers are gone the community is willing to accept the prostitution but would prefer for it to be rid of.

Extremely. It is proven that when crack cocaine sales are around that prostitution becomes more dangerous and unpredictable.

In upper Scott Street the police will deter the prostitution outside in the the community. If it's indoors and no visible disturbances happen at the businesses than it's tolerated unless complaints come in. In lower Scott Street the Commanding Officer gets upset when an arrest is made because it causes his numbers to go up.

If the prostitution isn't occurring alongside other criminal activities then the prosecutor will lower the charges to a fine.

Sex workers normally don't receive anything over a six months sentence. Many receive a fine and recommendation for counseling.

Many of the sex workers don't return to court or pay fines. The clients fearing conviction will pay the fines.
