They tend to stay in alley way areas where they are not visible to the public. They also venture to the lower end of the city where the drug markets are when police presence is high in their usual areas.

Stanley is pretty committed as his participation has been a held a secret from his family and his employer. The risk is high and he still partakes. Richard is also committed as he accidently solicited an undercover officer. The other two are fairly committed but partake if the opportunity appears.

The "Johns" want safe girls in safe areas who could give them drugs if necessary. Some concerns expressed are if they have diseases. They look for regulars.

Richard is pretty committed to soliciting as he did with an undercover officer and got caught. The "Johns" try to stay in safe areas. They stay in the main thoroughfare and if the area looks unsafe, they won't go down it.

They aren't super committed. One "John" worries about getting caught or catching a disease. Others will only go to the safe spots for prostitutes. Another "John" only comes to the city for drugs but takes up the offer from a prostitute if that opportunity arises.

Some groups that are particularly concerned are older residents of the area as well as those living in family neighborhoods. Some concerns they have expressed include picking up used condoms in the morning, only going to stores in the morning and when needed, and wanting to move out of the city if they had the money to do so.

Local stores and other businesses such as laundry matts have been affected by the presence of street prostitution because their stores have gone out of business as they ran out of money due to the popularity of bars and other areas more commonly associated with prostitution.

Local bars seem to benefit from street prostitution because it brings in more customers and the same goes for hotels in the area.

It seems that the street prostitution in the 600-300 area of Scott Ave. there has always been there however it keeps increasing due to how successful the area is for prostitution. While areas such as the 1400-1200 are less populated.

The upper side of Scott Ave. is known for being dangerous for prostitutes because of how busy it is with crime and prostitution which can cause the girls to have clients who are dangerous people.

Most of the areas have local business such as bars or clubs, churches and hotels. While there is usually things happening the girls will move to other streets within the avenue once they have a potential John so things can be more private and they won't get in trouble.

Yes, in the 600-300 area of Scott Ave. many drug arrests happen along with assaults both being serious and minor.
