Sharon Chamard
Sharon Chamard is associate professor at the Justice Center at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She was previously a research consultant for the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing and a research associate at the Crime Prevention Extension Service at Rutgers University. Her research has been published in the Canadian Journal of Criminology, the Security Journal, and the Alaska Justice Forum. She is currently co-editor of the Western Criminology Review. She received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and master's and doctorate degrees in criminal justice from the School of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University-Newark.
