Jessica M. Rosenthal
Jessica M. Rosenthal is a doctoral student in criminology and criminal justice at Arizona State University (ASU). She completed an internship with the United States Postal Inspection Service Denver Division and worked on a research project with the Colorado Peace Officer Standard and Training Board. At ASU she has taught courses on gangs; victims and the criminal justice system; and gender, crime, and criminal justice. Her research interests include policy, comparative criminal justice, victimization, and qualitative methods. She is a co-author of a recent article in Crime and Delinquency titled “Police Stress and Race: Using General Strain Theory to Explain Racial Differences in Police Suicide Ideation and Misconduct.” Rosenthal holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and criminology from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Colorado Denver.
